Hyd: FIR registered against fake baba Anantha Vishnu Prabhu
Hyderabad, July 8: The Saifabad police registered a case under various sections against Baba Bhagwan Ananta Vishnu Deva Prabhu, founder-president of the Jai Maha Bharat party, for causing a public nuisance and road obstruction.
According to police, Ananta Vishnu has been cheating women by offering 200 square yards of land for free if they take membership of his political party. However, collection of photostat copies of Aadhaar and two photos as part of membership drive turned out to be controversy. He justified taking Aadhaar details from women by saying that genuine persons will be identified for granting plots.
The godman claimed that he is an advocate of the Supreme Court and founder trustee and chairman of the Vaikuntam Trust. He announced that he will field women candidates in all Assembly constituencies of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The police also wrote a letter to the Election Commission of India seeking details of the Jai Maha Bharat party.
