Victim’s family complain death threat from MLC Anantababu family

Kakinada, July 7: Veedhi Srinu, uncle of slain Subrahmanyam, ex-driver of MLC Anantha Babu sought police protection alleging life threat from the MLC family members. Along with Dalit union leaders, he filed a complaint with Kakinada two town police on Wednesday.
 
Later briefing the media, Veedhi Srinu said that he is working as watchman at Sankar Towers at Bhanugudi, Kakinada, where the MLC family lives. He said that still they are getting threatening calls as they are witnesses in Subrahmanyam’s murder case. 
 
According to Srinu, MLC’s mother and sister scolded him and his daughters in the name of caste. Srinu said that they threatened, “We gave job to you here and you send my son to jail. We will see your end once my son comes out of jail,” 
 
Srinu requested the police to provide security to his family by taking action on MLC’s mother and sister. 
 
Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh Poura Hakkula Sangham State president Muppalla Subba Rao demanded the police to provide security to Veedhi Srinu and his family, who are witnesses in Subrahmanyam’s murder case and to take action against the MLC family members for threatening Srinu.
