Senior film editor Goutham Raju passes away
Hyderabad, July 6: Noted film editor Goutham Raju (68) breathed his last on Tuesday night. He has been suffering with health issues for some time and got discharged on Tuesday from the hospital. But suddenly his health was deteriorated and died at his house in Hyderabad at 1.30 am on Wednesday.
The film industry expressed shock at the sudden demise of Goutham Raju and extended condolences to the bereaved family members.
Goutham Raju started his career as film editor with Chiranjeevi starrer ‘Chattaniki Kallu levu’ movie and worked as editor to more than 850 movies in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Kannada. He bagged Nandi award as the best editor for ‘Adi’ movie.
He worked for many Telugu hit movies. He worked for several films of famous actors like Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Junior NTR, Ramcharan, Allu Arjun and the like. Films Adi, Khaidi number 150, Gabbar Singh, Kick, Resu Gurram, Gopala Gopala, Adhurs, Balupu, Racha, Usaravelli, Badrinath, Venkatadri Express, Katamarayudu and many more, which he worked, got accolades from viewers.
