VH extends support to Revanth after lunch at Vishnuvardhan’s house

Hyderabad, July 5: Former Congress MP V Hanumantha Rao popularly called as VH, TPCC campaign committee chairman Madhu Yaskhi Goud, and other Telangana Congress leaders attended for lunch at the residence of ex-Congress MLA P. Vishnuvardhan Reddy here on Tuesday.
 
Speaking to the media, VH dismissed the rumours of Vishnuvardhan is planning to join the BJP after his sister P. Vijaya Reddy quit the TRS and joined the Congress. He rubbished reports that lunch was arranged to oppose Revanth Reddy as TPCC chief. “I am extending support to Revanth because Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi appointed him,” he mentioned and said that he opposed him in the past.
 
Rao made an appeal to Revanth to get along with senior Congress leaders for bringing the party back to power in Telangana. He slammed YouTube channels for uploading videos with fake reports. “I am not against the media but news should be authentic,” he added.
