Narendra Modi is playing role of salesman not PM: KCR
Hyderabad, July 2: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) said on Saturday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is playing role of a salesman not PM.
Addressing the TRS MPs and MLAs in the presence of UPA presidential candidate Yashwant Sinha, KCR alleged that people in Sri Lanka are staging protests because of Narendra Modi. “Sri Lankan Electricity Board chief claimed that Modi exerted pressure on Sri Lankan president Gotabaya Rajapaksa to hand over a power project to the Indian-based business group,” he stated.
The Telangana CM also said that the Indian government is directing the states to purchase imported coal for higher cost when one tonne coal produced in India is available for less than Rs 4,000. He slammed the PM for not fulfilling even a single poll promise and made Modi responsible for the death of 700 farmers in agitation against three farm laws.
Earlier, KCR gave a call to all MPs to vote for Yashwant Sinha in presidential polls. “We need to bring a qualitative change in politics,” he mentioned.
