Eluru: TV actor Basha attempts suicide after recording selfie video
Eluru, June 27: The police prevented Telugu TV actor Basha from committing suicide by jumping before a train and shifted him to the government hospital. On Saturday, he recorded a selfie video and posted on social media.
Basha alleged that YSRCP councillor Lavanya Kumari had demolished his house and occupied his land in Jangareddygudem town. “When I resisted their attempt, followers of Lavanya assaulted me and my family members,” he mentioned.
The police admitted injured Basha to Area Hospital in Jangareddygudem and shifted him to Government General Hospital in Eluru for better medical treatment. In the selfie video, victim made the YSRCP councillor responsible for his death and said that his family is facing death threat from Lavanya Kumari.
Basha disappeared from the hospital on Saturday night. The police launched a hunt to catch Basha and found him near railway tracks. Now, the selfie video is going viral on the internet.
