Blast in Medchal, one dead

Medchal, June 26: An explosion was reported in a convention hall in Medchal on Saturday night. One woman died in the incident.
 
According to information, Jayaraj and Lakshmi are working as security in SBVK function hall in Bahadurpalli in Medchal. The duo belongs to Kamareddy. On Saturday at around 7 pm, Lakshmi tried to wash a box. Suddenly the box was exploded and her body was torn into pieces, killing her on the spot.
 
Upon receiving information, Dundigal police rushed to the spot and took up investigation with clues team. The police are investigating as to the material in the box that led to the huge explosion and who put that box in the convention hall.
