LinkedIn report identifies 25 hottest skills in demand worldwide

Hyderabad, Dec 26: LinkedIn, a professional networking website, disclosed that statistics and data analysis skills were the most in demand skills across the world. Releasing a list of 25 hottest skills, which were in demand in 2014, LinkedIn in a report said in India, France and the US cloud and distributed computing skills were in high demand. The website gathered the data from over 330 million member profiles. Some of the other hottest skills listed in the LinkedIn report included digital, online, and SEO (search engine optimization) marketing skills. HR experts in India believe that recruitments will get better in 2015, especially in the January-March period. The website's report also said India is emerging as an optimistic nation in terms of recruitment plans for the January to March period. Some of the sectors to look out for include power, infrastructure, manufacturing, energy, ITES, IT, banking, e-commerce and retail.
