JEE Mains in 3 days, hall tickets not issued yet

Hyderabad, June 20: The JEE Main first phase of examinations are going to be conducted from June 23 to 29. But hall tickets were not issued till Sunday 7.30 pm. 
 
ormally, hall tickets for any exam will be issued at least one week or 10 days before. But National Testing Agency (NTA) has not issued hall tickets for JEE Mains till date, making the candidates worry. 
 
The NTA informed the candidates the cities allotted to them only but not the exam centres. About 9.5 lakh students applied for the exam, including 1.5 lakh from both the Telugu States. 
 
There were allegations that the NTA, since its establishment, has been confusing the students in announcing exam dates, notifications, results etc. Without consulting the State governments, the NTA had announced JEE Main exam dates a few months ago. With this, the IITs, which will conduct JEE Advanced, are forced to change the exam dates. 
 
The NTA had earlier announced that the JEE Mains first phase exams will commence from June 21 and three days ago, it gave a fresh date of June 23.
