Civic staff raze TDP leader’s house wall, heavy police deployed

Narsipatnam, June 19: Heavy police surrounded the house of former Minister and TDP politburo member Chintakayala Ayyanna Patrudu in the early hours of Sunday morning. 
 
Municipal staff has demolished the wall of his house at Narsipatnam after Saturday midnight. Narsipatnam Municipal Commissioner stated in the notice that the TDP leader had occupied two cents of government land and constructed the wall. 
 
Ayyanna Patrudu’s family members alleged that the municipal staff had served notice dated June 2 now and immediately demolished the wall. The demolition works stopped for a while as the family members obstructed. 
 
The municipal staff again restored the works and tried to destroy the kitchen at the back of the house. Police shifted the women out of the house, who tried to prevent them. 
 
Under the supervision of Narsipatnam ASP, heavy police was deployed at Ayyanna Patrudu’s house and media was not allowed. Barricades were also set up.
