450 Sai Defence Academy students participated in Secunderabad violence: Police

Hyderabad, June 18: So far, the police arrested 22 persons involved in arson at railway station in Secunderabad. The probe revealed that it was a coordinated plan to strike railway station on June 18. The police found that Sai Defence Academy run by A. Subbarao is mastermind behind the violence. After retiring from the Army, he is running coaching institutions in Hyderabad, Narasaraopet and Visakhapatnam.
 
On June 14, job aspirants communicated with each other through WhatsApp groups and decided to come to Hyderabad on June 17. Most of the students participated in violence are from Narasaraopet. 
 
Army job aspirants from Nizamabad, Warangal, Karimnagar, Mahabubnagar and Mancherial were also part of the protest. Around 450 students of Sai Academy have landed in Hyderabad from various places in trains and took shelter provided by Subbarao. In all, students of ten private coaching institutions went on a rampage at Secunderabad railway station on Friday morning.
