Secunderabad rail station violence: Kishan Reddy meets Amit Shah, submits report
Even the intelligence and railway officials also submitted reports individually to the Union Home Ministry explaining the reasons for protesters setting trains on fire at railway station in Secunderabad and damaging the property on platforms. After the meeting with Amit Shah, Kishan Reddy might hold a press meet justifying the need for Agnipath scheme.
The BJP alleged that Opposition parties are misleading people on the new scheme. Meanwhile, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday announced that age limit for youth participating in the mega drive for the Agnipath Scheme was raised to 23. “It is a golden opportunity for youth to join defence forces,” he mentioned.
