Telangana martyr Srikantha Chary’s father missing
Hyderabad, June 12: Telangana martyr Kasoju Srinkantha Chary’s father Venkatachary (55) was missing for the past few days.
According to police, Venkatachary and his wife Sankaramma lives in Surya Nagar Colony in Hayath Nagar in Hyderabad. On June 1, Venkatachary told his wife that he was going on some work and left the house. Sankaramma said that her husband was appeared on social platforms on the next day and didn’t respond to her calls.
Sankaramma complained to the police about his disappearance. She expressed doubt that her husband might be staying with Praja Shanti Parti chief KA Paul. Police filed a case and took up investigation.
Venkatachary recently joined Praja Shanti Party and KA Paul announced that he will give a ticket to him in the next Assembly elections. Paul also said that they will hold a public meeting on December 3, the day on which Srikantha Chary sacrificed his life, and will announced as it was the day of Telangana formation day.
Venkatachary alleged that the government is ignoring martyrs and justice to be done to students, unemployed youth and martyrs. He lauded KA Paul for coming forward to give support martyrs’ families.
Meanwhile, Venkatachary’s wife Sankaramma alleged that KA Paul pressurized Venkatachary to join his party after promising Rajya Sabha seat to him. She further alleged that Paul’s followers were not allowing her to meet her husband.
