TDP chief Naidu condemns attack on TDP leader house
Kuppam, June 8: TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu condemned the attack on the house of TDP senior leader RR Ravi house on Monday night. He alleged that police not coming to the incident spot, which is very near to the police station, clearly indicates that the police are supporting the ruling party leaders indirectly. He assured that they are ever ready to protect his party leaders and activists from the attacks of ruling party leaders.
It should be noted here that YSRCP activists reportedly pelted stones and liquor bottles on the house of Ravi, who is former chairman of Sri Prasanna Tirupati Gangamma temple.
According to sources, Resco chairman and YSRCP leader Senthil Kumar called Ravi at about 11.30 pm on Monday and asked him to give temple’s fixed deposit bonds worth Rs 96 lakh. Ravi replied that he had already submitted the bonds to endowments officials, which led to verbal argument between them. Later, YSRCP leaders attacked Ravi’s house at Netaji Road in Kuppam with liquor bottles and stones on the same day night.
Following the complaint of TDP leader Ravi, police inspected the spot and filed case against YSRCP leader Senthil Kumar and his followers Srinivasulu and Kodanda.
