BJP's new gun Ram Madhav giving sleepless nights to Venkaiah !
Vijayawada, Dec 25, 2014 : Ram Madhav, a rising force in BJP in Andhra Pradesh, is sounding alarm bells for top party gun and Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu in the state.
Political observers feel the clout of Venkaiah Naidu has been narrowing down gradually in the party with the emergence of Ram Madhav as a force to reckon with.
Ram Madhav, a newly appointed general secretary of the party, is very close to the party president Amit Shah and played a key role in Jammu and Kashmir elections where the party has improved its stocks.
Inducted into the BJP from the RSS ranks, Ram Madhav is an undisputed leader of the party in AP as well at the Centre now. His rising influence with the party top brass is giving sleepless nights to Venkaiah Naidu who once called the shots when Atal Bihari Vajpayee and L.K. Advani were at the helm.
Recently, former Minister and senior Congress leader from Guntur district, Kanna Lakshmi Narayana joined BJP through Ram Madhav. Earlier, he made several attempts in vain to join the party. But once he approached Ram Madhav, his admission in to the party was solemnized.
Venkaiah Naidu was unable to digest this development as it indicated the down slide of his influence with the party bigwigs.
It is no surprise now that most of the vexed Congress and YSRCP leaders are looking up towards Ram Madhav to find their way into BJP.
But the one man, who is most worried about Ram Madhva undoubtedly is Venkaiah Naidu.
