Centre to set up PM Shri schools to prepare students for future
Delhi, June 3: The Central government is going to set up ‘PM Shri’ schools across the country to prepare students to face the new challenges in the world.
Disclosing this at a national seminar in Gujarat, Central Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that these schools will be like laboratories for the new educational policy. He said that the teaching method in mother language from primary schools will make the students to make 21st century citizens.
Reminding the importance given to local languages in the new educational policy, Minister Pradhan said that all languages in the country are national languages. Any language is lesser than Hindi and English, as each language has its own specialty and importance. Hence, we gave importance to all languages in the new educational policy, he added.
He asked the education ministers to share their opinions and experiences on the way to transform the educational practices for betterment of students.
