Vemulawada youth dies in US

Vemulawada, May 31: Kante Yashwanth (25), who was doing MS in Florida, US, drowned in the sea near Pita islands. 
 
According to his friends, Yashwanth’s father Kante Mallaiah is a government teacher and lives in Subhash Nagar, Vemulawada. He went to Florida eight months ago. 
 
Yashwant along with his friends Subhoday, Mysura, Charan, Srikar and Sarvari went to the islands near Ireland on May 29. They reached Pita islands on a private boat. On the same day evening, the boat engine didn’t start and due to the force of waves the boat travelled from a location of 3 meter depth to a location of 25 meter depth.
 
Unaware of the depth of the sea, Yashwanth entered the water and couldn’t reach the boat due to high waves. His friends tried to save him for about three hours but in vain. They informed the matter to his parents.
 
Later police fished Yashwanth’s body on Monday night.
