Chinna Jeeyar sarcastic comments on AP roads
Rajamahendravaram, May 19: Chinna Jeeyar Swamy comments on the condition of roads in Andhra Pradesh went viral on social media amidst strong criticism on the poor state of roads.
Opposition parties, especially Telugu Desam Party, has been staging protests and demanding the YSRCP government to take up repairs immediately.
Chinna Jeeyar Swamy went to Rajahmundry, West Godavari district, following the invitation of APIIC former chairman S Sivarama Subrahmanyam. While delivering spiritual talk, he made interesting comments on the roads in AP. He said, “It took three hours for me to reach Rajahmundry from Jangareddygudem of West Godavari district. Stating that he faced ups and downs during the journey, he mocked that there might be more pits on the road, hence he had to face inconvenience.
Chinna Jeeyar comments allegedly gave support to the opposition parties, who have firing salvos at the ruling party on the disastrous condition of the roads in the State. It was criticized that the YSRCP government is not taking up repairs to the roads even after collecting huge amounts of various taxes and toll fee.
As a mockery, TDP leaders catch fish in the pits on the roads. Jana Sena Party leaders also conducted a digital campaign on the poor state of the roads.
