Three capitals for AP will become mere political slogan: BJP MP GVL

Amaravati, May 14: BJP Rajya Sabha member GVL Narasimha Rao on Saturday alleged that the YSRCP government is obstructing construction works in Amaravati. He asked the Jagan government to create a friendly environment so that lands allotted to Central government institutions can start construction of their buildings. “I have already written letters to those institutions to begin construction of structures in lands given to them,” he stated.
 
To a question, the MP said creation of three capitals will not possible after the High Court verdict. Moreover, the AP government did not challenge the judgement in the Supreme Court, he added and said that three capitals will become a mere political slogan. 
 
However, GVL stated it is not possible to construct a capital in Amaravati with 60,000 crore in six months. The BJP stand is capital should remain in Amaravati, he reiterated. The BJP leader assured to impress on Central institutions for starting building construction works.
