SSC question paper leak: Ex-TDP minister Narayana, his wife arrested by CID police

Hyderabad, May 10: The Andhra Pradesh CID police on Tuesday arrested former TDP minister and Narayana Group of Educational Institutions founder P. Narayana and his wife Rama Devi after Giridhar Reddy, vice-principal of Narayan School in Tirupati, had confessed to police that he leaked SSC question papers at their behest.
 
The cops took Narayana couple into custody from their residence at Kondapur in Hyderabad in the early hours today and shifting them to Chittoor as police registered a case in One Town police station. Apart from Giridhar, other six accused, who were arrested, had worked in Narayana educational institutions in the past. The CID police reportedly tried to contact Narayana for the last four days but could not do so as he switched off his mobile.
 
Former YSRCP minister Balineni Srinivas Reddy and YSRCP MLA Malladi Vishnu alleged that Narayana tried to defame the Jagan government by leaking SSC question papers from his schools.
