Butchaiah Chowdary calls Roja 'Lady Villain', she cries

Hyderabad, Dec 22: Actress-politician and YSRCP MLA Roja Monday cried in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly after TDP MLA Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary said she was a 'Lady Villain'. While speaking during a debate on crop loan waiver, Chowdary resorted to a personal attack on Roja calling her a 'Lady Villain'. An upset Roja appealed to Speaker Kodela Siva Prasad to grant her an opportunity to rebut the insulting statement and accusations. With the speaker refusing to give her the opportunity to speak, Roja shed tears. Immediately, angry YSRCP MLAs and their TDP counterparts engaged in a heated argument. This forced the speaker to adjourn the House till 4 pm.
