Postpone NEET-PG 2022 exam, Nara Lokesh writes to Union Minister

Amaravati, May 6: TDP national general secretary and MLC Nara Lokesh wrote a letter to Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya to postpone National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET-PG) 2022 exam which is scheduled on May 21. He brought to his notice that medical students across the country has been demanding that the Centre should announce another date for holding the exam. 
 
The TDP MLC stated that students have lost their valuable preparation time due to delay in conducting NEET-PG exam and counselling for the same because of coronavirus pandemic last year. He also pointed out in his letter that several medical students in Telugu states are not eligible to write NEET-PG 2022 exam as they yet to complete one year mandatory internship.
 
Lokesh made an appeal to Mandaviya to consider objections raised by medical students. “Students are under pressure as the Centre had announced May 21 is the date for holding exam,” he said.
