TRS activist slaps KA Paul
Siddipet, May 3: In a shocking incident, a TRS activist attacked Praja Shanti Party founder president KA Paul on Monday. Paul was on his way to meet farmers, who incurred loss due unexpected rains, at Baswapur village, Tangallapalli mandal of Rajanna Sircilla district.
Knowing about Paul’s visit, TRS leaders and activists in large numbers reached the village and stopped him from proceeding further. Police also reached the area to prevent any untoward incidents.
When Paul was speaking to the media, TRS activist Anil Kumar of Jillella village slapped Paul on his face. This led to tension in the village.
Suspecting law and order problem, police stopped KA Paul at Jakkapur village and asked him to return.
Later speaking at Siddipet town, KA Paul criticized that police are working as TRS activists. “What is wrong if I console the farmers’ families?” he questioned. Demanding the arrest of those, who attacked him, the Praja Shanti Party leader said that he will complain to the DGP over the incident.
