12 arrested in 10th class question paper leak case
Chittoor, April 29: Police have arrested 12 persons including 12 teachers in connection with 10th class Telugu language question paper leak case. Police said that Narayana Educational Institutions hatched a plan to get the question paper leaked so that all the students of their colleges will pass the exam. Narayana College vice-principal, Tirupati, Giridhar Reddy reportedly played a key role in sending the question paper through WhatsApp.
During investigation, police found out that CRP Rajesh of Ankireddypalli ZP High School took a photo of the question paper with his mobile and passed the mobile to teachers Nagaraju and Neelakanteswar Reddy. They forwarded the question paper to another nine teachers, who prepared answers to these questions and circulated them as slips to students with the help of Eshwar, Bhagiratha, Chandrakiran and Vijay Kumar.
Police took Talari Rajesh, Neela Kanteshwar Reddy, Nagaraju, Madhusudan Rao, Venkateswarlu, Dastagiri, Vanajakshi, Lakshmidurga, Aryabhatta, Pothuluru, Ranganayakulu and Maddileti into custody and filed a case against them.
