Cabinet rejig: Adimulapu Suresh clears air on rift with Balineni Srinivasa Reddy

Amaravati: YSRCP leaders say there is no truth in the claims that their leaders have been at loggerheads since the reshuffle of the Cabinet. As part of this, Minister Adimulapu Suresh has responded to reports that he has differences with Balineni Srinivasa Reddy, the former minister from Prakasam district. He clarified that he has no rift with Balineni.

On the occasion, Minister Suresh said, 'I have no differences with Balineni. They are all created by the media. "Because of Balineni, I was given the post of Minister for the second time. We will work hard to make YS Jaganmohan Reddy the Chief Minister once again under the leadership of Balineni in the next Assembly elections,” he said.

According to media reports, Jagan had reportedly told Balineni that nobody from Prakasm would be accommodated in the new Cabinet, but surprisingly at the last minute Minister Adimulpu Suresh’s yet again included in the Cabinet rejig.

It is learnt that this has angered Balineni, however, Jagan’s emissary has tried to reason with him, and finally, Balineni after calling on Jagan, speculations over his ire for including Admimulapu Suresh was put to rest.

In this backdrop, Adimulapu Suresh cleared the air on the supposed rift with Balineni, and he attributed his second time induction into the Cabinet to Balineni. But, only time will tell how they would work as they both belong to the same district and still two-and-a-half years are left for the next Assembly polls.

Jagan, who reshuffled the Cabinet, faced a rebellion from a few ministers for not including them in the Cabinet, but his trusted lieutenants reportedly have tried to assuage their feelings by conveying the Chief Minister’s message about how they are important to the party as their services are needed to the party to come to power in next Assembly polls.
