Vishnuvardhan gets anticipatory bail

Hyderabad, Dec 19, 2014 : Ranga Reddy District Court today granted anticipatory bail to Jubilee Hills former Congress MLA Vishnu Vardhan Reddy. Vishnu has applied for anticipatory bail fearing arrest by police in a case relating to a brawl with his estranged youth Congress colleague and Kalvakurthi Congress MLA Vamsichand Reddy at a wedding function in Hyderabad few days ago. Both of them lodged police complaints against each other over their brawl accusing each other of provoking first. After watching the video footage that captured their fisticuffs in the midst of a marriage being witnessed by several VIPs, the police had arrived at the conclusion that Vishnu was clearly at fault and tried to arrest him. Vishnuvardhan Reddy has applied for bail through his counsel and gone underground.
