Mumbai: The economic crisis in Sri Lanka has plunged the country into a political crisis. In the process, people took to the streets as the prices of essentials skyrocketed. Violent incidents have also taken place in many places. It is learnt that people also besieged the residence of Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa. Sri Lanka as a whole is in deep crisis. Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez responded to this situation by tweeting on her Twitter handle.

In her message, Jacqueline appealed that no one should come to a hasty conclusion on the Sri Lankan crisis. She commented that as a Sri Lankan national, she was heartbroken to see her country and its people. She said different arguments had been heard from different parts of the world since the beginning of the crisis in her country. She pleaded that no one should be blamed as the cause of this crisis by believing what is visible to the eye.
