BJP working for corporate sector, not concerned about farmers: Harish Rao
Reacting to the comments made by Union Minister Piyush Goyal in the Rajya Sabha regarding the purchase of rice, Minister Harish Rao on Friday came down heavily on the BJP-led Modi government for not showing any concern towards the farmers instead working for the interests of corporate sector.
Rao alleged that the Centre is deceiving the farmers by hoodwinking them with sweet talk. He demanded Goyal to tender an apology for the people of Telangana for insulting them. “Telangana farmers wants to sell boiled rice to the Centre but they want raw rice from us,” he clarified.
