Chakri's wife approaches HRC but denies rift in family

Hyderabad, Dec 18, 2014 : Sravani, wife of the late music director Chakri, approached the state Human Rights Commission alleging victimisation from the brothers and sisters of Chakri. She, however, told reporters that it is common for joint families to face problems of this kind in these sort of situations. "After the 11th day ceremony, we will all sit and solve the issues,' she said. She said she had approached the Human Rights Commission fearing some sort of insecurity over her future in the changed circumstances following her husband's death. " I married Chakri defying my father and mother. But, I don't entertain any insecurity over financial matters. My father is well placed and will take care of me," she said clarifying on why she had approached the HRC.
