Bandi Sanjay seeks people's mandate to turn Hyderabad Old City into a new city
Hyderabad: Telangana BJP chief Bandi Sanjay made interesting remarks on the Hyderabad issue as the focal point. He made it clear that the BJP's goal was to win the Hyderabad parliamentary seat. If the BJP gets a chance, it will turn Hyderabad Old City into a new city. They launch Ghar Wapsi' programme for Hindus in the Old City.
He said that they will liberate Telangana from MIM 'goondas' and questioned why Asaduddin Owaisi and KCR did not attend the immersion of Ganesh idols in the Old City.
Bandi Sanjay criticised the MIM for issuing a fatwa against Muslim women not exercising their right to vote. When the BJP comes to power will transform the Charminar Bhagyalakshmi temple into an icon of Telangana and asserted they will occupy the Darussalam, the party headquarters of MIM.
He made these statements at a meeting of BJP workers in Hyderabad Lok Sabha constituency in Champapeta.
