Telangana govt beefs up security for Minister Srinivas Goud

Hyderabad: The security for Minister for Excise Srinivas Goud was beefed up after the conspiracy to assassinate him was foiled by the Cyberabad police. 

In this backdrop, the Telangana government has recently announced that it is increasing security cover for the Minister. As part of the arrangement, Srinivas Goud will be guarded by 20 policemen, 10 City Security Wing personnel, six intelligence officers and four Greyhounds commandos.

Srinivas Goud is the only Greyhounds commando guarded after Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao in Telangana. The Excise Minister will provide M44 weapons to the police in the security team. In addition, two more vehicles have been added to his convoy.
