Police storm Sydney cafe, gunfire heard

Sydney, Dec 15 : Security forces early Tuesday stormed a cafe in the heart of Sydney where a gunman was holding around 30 hostages, triggering fierce gunfire. Police blew up the door of Lindt Chocolate Cafe around 2.30 a.m., almost 22 hours after the hostage drama began early Monday. One of the hostages was an employee of software major Infosys from Andhra Pradesh.
