Exasperated Board tells AP, TS to resolve Krishna river row on their own
Hyderabad, Dec 12: An exasperated Krishna River Management Board has finally thrown up its hands and has asked the governments of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to resolve their row on contentious issues on their own.
Earlier, the Board members had called for submissions of their concerns from the Engineer-in-Chiefs of the two governments on the sharing of Krishna river waters, availability of water, storage capacity and power generation.
The two warring governments, who had earlier filed their complaints with the centre, were told by the NDA government to resolve their disputes at the Board level itself. However, the Board members have finally thrown up their hands and have asked the two warring governments to resolve the row on their own.
