Inter exams from March 11 in AP: Ganta

Hyderabad, Dec 8: Andhra Pradesh Human Resource Development Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao here on Monday reconfirmed that Intermediate examinations will be held in the state from March 11, 2015 as stated earlier. The minister said the decision was taken following the Telangana government's rigid stand that it wishes to conduct its Inter exams separately. He said the Andhra Pradesh Board of Intermediate Examination officials are busy preparing the exam schedule and the question papers. Ganta Srinivasa Rao, however, said there is still no clarity on the conduct of EAMCET as a joint entrance test for both the states. Discussions are also going on to being changes in the exam pattern. He indicated that the government was exploring the possibilities of adopting the Tamil Nadu pattern for EAMCET in the state.
