Centre appoints Dinesh Kumar, IAS, as CEO of Polavaram project

Hyderabad, Dec 6: Senior IAS officer of Andhra Pradesh cadre Dinesh Kumar has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Polavaram Project Authority (PPA), an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training said. The order said Dinesh Kumar, a 1983 batch IAS officer, is at present working as the Development Commissioner in the Union Ministry of Textiles. The IAS officer has been appointed as the CEO of the PPA under the Union Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary. His tenure will be for three years, the order said.
