AP shortlists 8 consultants for capital city project
Hyderabad, Dec 2: Andhra Pradesh government is getting ready to finalise the Project Advisory and Management Consultant (PAMC) for the capital city project in December second week, according to official sources.
Sources said AP's Infrastructure Corporation is reported to have short listed eight consortia, who have been told to submit their financial and technical bids.
The PAMC is expected to guide the AP government in the selection of the master plan for the new capital and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is reported to have asked for the Spatial Concept Master Plan for the capital to be ready for submission in nine months.
Sources also said the eight consortia are scheduled to meet Singapore senior minister S. Iswaran and Singapore’s Centre for Liveable Cities Executive Director Khoo Teng Chye, who are visiting AP on December 8 and December 9 respectively for discussions on the master plan for the capital city.
After this meeting, AP government is expected to finalise the CPAMC for the capital city.
