Petrol prices could fall below Rs 60/Litre
New Delhi, Nov 26: Crude oil prices fell over 30 per cent in the past six months forcing the 12-member OPEC to think of a production cut. Members of OPEC are to meet on Thursday to decide future course of action. India will be a big beneficiary if crude prices drop to $60 per barrel, provided the rupee continues to trade in the 58-62 range against the US dollar. If that happens, petrol and diesel prices in the country will tumble and petrol prices could fall below Rs 60 per litre. If petrol prices fall below Rs 60 per litre, it would be the first time since May 2011.
