TS to relax upper age limit by 5 yrs to fill govt jobs: KCR
Hyderabad, Nov 24: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Monday has told the legislative assembly that jobs in the private sector have increased in comparison to the public sector.
He was participation in the discussion on the issue of unemployment in the state during Question Hour in the assembly.
Stating that Hyderabad's IT sector itself employs 1.5 lakh persons, the chief minister said that 1,07,744 vacancies are to be filled up in the government sector in the state.
He promised to fill up these vacancies as soon as the Kamalanathan Committee completes the distribution of the state-level employees between the two Telugu states.
He also promised that his government will relax the upper age limit to fill up these vacant jobs and this would benefit the unemployed youth.
