Bahubali-2 collects over Rs 100 crore in US
It is an old news that Bahubali-2 had started a damn new history on the Indian silver screen. In the first week itself, the film had surpassed the ‘PK’ all-time collections and became the No 1 movie in the country. On the other hand, the film had collected Rs 110 crore in just six days within the two Telugu speaking states and proved the stamina of the Telugu film. All the distributors from Nizam to North Andhra are celebrating with all-time records.
When the situation in India is like this, the film had surpassed the records created by ‘Dangal’ movie and rewrote the history of Indian films in overseas market. Bahubali-2 is collecting Rs 100 crore in US alone and became the first film which had collected Rs 100 crore in overseas market in a short period. No other move, including from Bollywood, could collect this much of amount in such a short period. Moreover the record would certainly remain unbeaten in the near future, trade analysts opine. By the end of this week, an announcement would come that the film had collected around Rs 1,000 crore.
