Digvijaya Singh rejects apology demand by TRS
Hyderabad, May.2: Congress senior leader Digvijaya Singh, who was under fire for his controversial comment against Telangana police, further aggravated the situation by stating that he will stand by what he said earlier. There was no question of my tendering apology, he said.
Digvijaya Singh said he stood by what he has said in connection with Telangana police. The Congress leader said,“He was ready to fight in the court, let them file case against him.” According to reports, Singh had alleged that Telangana police was luring Muslim youth to join the Islamic State. It was not proper to mislead Muslim youth while providing 12 per cent reservation to Muslims, Digvijaya Singh said and asserted that he would not apologize for his comment and stand what he had claimed.
