Each character has its own identity in Bahubali-2
Maverick director SS Rajamouli, while speaking during promotions of Bahubali-2, claimed that this movie is ‘the best’ film which he directed so far in his career. Generally in all his films, hero’s character would remain a highlight. However, in this film, each and every character has its own specialty and identity and that is the reason, this film had given him immense satisfaction. Now, what all Jakkanna said during promotions is 100 per cent sure and everyone is feeling very happy after watching the movie.
Each character had a fantastic value in the movie and the characterisation of each and every character is distinct. After the lead characters like Bahubali, Bhallaladeva, Sivagami, Devasena and Bijjaladeva, the moulding of Kattappa was also designed so perfectly. Especially, the director made everyone believe that Kattappa remained the loyal servant to the throne. When Bijjaladeva terms him a ‘Dog’ and should follow the orders of the throne and should not revolt against the king, Kattappa says, Rajamata Sivagami had announced Mahendra Bahubali as their future king and he is undoubtedly the slave of the King Mahendra Bahubali and he never revolted against his king and remained to be a faithful servant of the king.
Likewise, being a faithful servant, he reveals the conspiracy in getting orders to kill Bahubali through Sivagami and warns her that she made an undeniable and unpardonable crime. At the same time, he gives Mahendra Bahubali to Sivagami and forces her to get out of the fort. The moulding of that character is very very impressive.
