Krishnakumari refutes gossips spread over her health

It is not known whether the media due to over-enthusiasm to provide news about the actresses of yester years or try to spread the gossips thinking that it would be a good news item worth reading for the readers. Some journalists try to make a mountain out of a mole hill by creating news. Recently, a section of the media gossiped that the star heroine of yesteryears Krishnakumari was suffering from cancer and is critically ill.

On learning this, Krishnakumari immediately called the media and told them that she is perfectly alright and she is not suffering from dreaded diseases like cancer. The 84-year-old actress revealed that she is no doubt unwell and it is because of old age. The platelet count in the blood has come down and the doctors have injected blood and she is now alright. However, the media which had reported that she is unwell claimed that they had verified with the Apollo Hospital doctors and then only they reported like that. God knows who is right.
