Prez to open Osmania University centenary fete on April 26: VC

Hyderabad, April.21: The Osmania University vice-chancellor Prof Ramachandran has said that the President Pranab Mukherjee will launch the Osmania University Centenary Celebrations on April 26. The inaugural celebrations would be held for three days, he told.

Speaking to the media here on Friday, Ramachandran said that the University will organize cultural programs on the occasion. Governors ESL Narasimhan and Ch Vidyasagar Rao, Union Ministers Javadekar, Bandaru Dattatreya, ISRO chairman Kiran Kumar and others would participate in the celebrations, he informed. He also suggested to the students to register their names online for entry passes for the celebrations. The VC said the arrangements were made for 15,000 people.
