Abhishek Pictures bag Nizam rights of Spyder
Even as the shooting of the film ‘Spyder’ is in progress, and the film is still on sets, the pre-release business for the bilingual-film featuring Maheshbabu in the lead role directed by Murugadoss has started. If sources are to be believed the Nizam area distribution rights of the film have been reportedly bagged by Reliance through Abhishek Pictures. Sources close to the film unit say that Mahesh is most likely to wrap up the shooting by the end of this month.
Claimed to be a spy thriller, the hero of the film will be an intelligence officer, while popular director SJ Suryah is playing the villain opposite Mahesh. The film is said to be the remake of ‘Thupaki’, which was made in 2012. Suryah is sporting a six-pack abs look and is making rigorous workouts for the movie. Rakul Preet Singh is playing the heroine, while Harris Jayaraj is scoring tunes for this film. Tagore Madhu is presenting the film while the movie is being bankrolled by NV Prasad with a whopping budget of Rs 115 crore. Some time ago, the satellite rights of the film was sold for a fancy price of Rs 26 crore to Zee Network.
