TDP Leaders Arrested; Protest against the Quota Bill

Hyderabad, April.16: Police today arrested TDP floor leader A Revanth Reddy and other leaders S Venkatveeraiah and Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy near the State Assembly.

They were shifted to Ramgopalpet police station. The TRS government has convened a special assembly session to pass the Girijan and B C reservation bill.

           The TDP members, Revanth Reddy and Venkataveeraiah, who were suspended during the earlier session, were not allowed to enter the House today also.  They were told that the suspension would continue.  The leaders then staged protest in front of the Gandhi statue in the assembly premises,  protesting against  the Reservation Bill of the TRS government.  They raised slogan against the Government and the Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Reddy. They were arrested and shifted to police station.
