Mallu Ravi slams KTR for asking people to hit bribe seekers with chappals
Hyderabad, April.7: TPCC vice-president Mallu Ravi today took serious exception to MA&UD Minister KT Ramarao calling upon people to chase away Congress leaders and also openly telling people to beat with chappal if anybody demanded bribe for allotment of double bedroom houses.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan on Friday along with PCC spokesperson Mahesh Goud, Mallu Ravi also questioned in what capacity the grandson of Chief Minister could offer “Muthyala Thalambralu” to the presiding deities at Bhadrachalam temple on the Sri Rama Navami Day. It was not proper for KTR to tell people to chase away Congress leaders. The way TRS leaders were speaking reflects dictatorship, he said.
Ravi alleged that the KCR government has totally failed to fulfill the assurances made before the elections so far. KTR’s public meetings in districts seem to be arranged only for criticizing the Congress party, he said, adding that nobody would believe if somebody says Congress had done nothing. He also said distribution of sheep and fish was not new in the State as Congress regime had distributed the same several times. The TPCC leader also advised KTR to mend his ways and talk cautiously.
PCC spokesperson Mahesh Goud said there was no response from the people in Armoor meeting,
