Maheshbabu robs Tamil market after Bahubali-2
Director SS Rajamouli’s Bahubali (The Beginning) became a big commercial hit, not only in Telugu but also in Bollywood. Generally, Tamilians don’t like other language films, but Bahubali was so big hit on par with other Tamil blockbusters. Now Bahubali-2 is also expected to be a big hit in all the languages. Keeping this in mind, the Tamil rights of the film were sold like hot cakes.
Now, yet another film is vying for similar honours in Tamil. That is Maheshbabu’s upcoming film in the direction of Murugadoss. The film is being brought out as a bilingual and Maheshbabu who was born and brought up in Chennai, is personal delivering the Tamil dialogues. Though Maheshbabu is a Super Star in Telugu, he has no big market in Tamil and may not compete with star heroes there. However, there is a big craze on the film in Tamil because the film is being directed by a Tamil director Murugadoss. As per the latest talk among the trade circles, there is a big market for Maheshbabu’s movie, after Bahubali-2.
