Karimnagar to be tourist destination: MP Vinod

Hyderabad, March.26: TRS MP B Vinod Kumar today said Karimnagar will be developed into a major tourist destination in the near future and a smart city will come up by spending Rs 1000 crore.
Vinod was speaking after launching CC cameras set up at Doctors Colony in Karimnagar, which was announced to be developed as Smart City by the Centre.

Speaking on the occasion, Vinod said the Centre has included Karimnagar into the smart city list and will offer Rs 1000 crore for its development. Karimnagar will be developed as a beautiful and smart city by providing world class infrastructure and facilities, he remarked. He also said CC cameras have been installed at major public points like educational institutions, hospital, function hall, shopping malls, temples, mosques and other places of worship involving people.

MLA G Kamalakar, District Collector S Ahmed, Commissioner of Police Kamalasan Reddy were present.
