CM KCR striving for golden Telangana: Etala
Hyderabad, March.19: Finance Minister Etala Rajender today expressed hope that the State will be transformed into ”Golden Telangana” only by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
Participating in a TRS party program for enrollment of membership at Yadadri Bhuvanagiri here, the minister welcomed people into the TRS fold by offering them traditional Pink shawl. A sizeable number of people joined the party in his presence.
Speaking on the occasion, the Finance Minister said Chief Minister KCR was determined to change the fates of people by offering them necessary boost. Welfare schemes have been given a major fillip by the government, he said. Rajender claimed that it was only the Telangana State government implementing welfare schemes in a great manner through which 36 lakh people are being benefited from pensions. No other State in the country was able to give such pensions to the needy, he claimed.
Rajender also stated that the 2017-18 budget presented by him are being welcomed and appreciated by all people. However, the Opposition was making false allegations for political gain, he charged. In the previous combined State of Andhra Pradesh, injustice was meted out to Telangana in irrigation sector and others, he fumed. However, the TRS government was now on the growth path to resolve the issues and complete the irrigation projects on time, he said. MLA G Kishore Babu and others were present
