Not a drop of water of Nizamsagar went waste: Harish
Hyderabad, March.16: Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao today said not a single drop of water of Nizamsagar project went waste.
Speaking in the Legislative Council today, Harish Rao said water was provided for irrigation under Nizamsagar to 2.1 lakh acre. He said water was provided to every acre under the project and not a single drop of water went waste.
Leader of the Opposition Shabbir Ali appreciated the efforts of Telangana government in proper utilisation of Nagarjunsagar project water.
